Even though it is often said that data has become a valuable or even the most valuable resource, its active management has not yet arrived in all companies. For a targeted management of data, it is necessary, among other things, to define a framework in the form of data governance – which then also has to be lived. We report openly and comprehensibly on what causes such projects to fail and use real examples to show which success factors exist.
In this lecture, we lead a practice-oriented expert discussion on data governance concepts and show real examples with success and failure.
– What is governance?
– Roles exist and which ones do you really need?
– Success only through a process model of governance?
– Technology? How much technology do you really need?
